Current 1L and 2L students apply via IFLP’s online application.
Law schools nominate students to the candidate pool.
IFLP interviews students in the candidate pool and refers qualified applicants.
Employers select candidates from the applicant pool and extend offer.
Students are officially admitted to IFLP when they accept an offer from an employer.
How to Apply
You must be a student currently enrolled at a participating law school.
You must complete the online application in a single session. You may not save your application and come back later to finish and submit it. Download a PDF application to prepare your answers for the online application.
You are required to upload three documents with your application. Please attach these documents as PDF files when prompted to in the application form. We encourage you to consult with career professionals at your school about how to prepare your resume and cover letters.:
Cover Letter: addressed to “Institute for the Future of Law Practice” that clearly and concisely explains your interest in the program, in no more than one page.
Written Assessment: complete according to the instructions in the assessment prompt.

The application process occurs on a rolling basis. You are strongly encouraged to apply as soon as possible so you will have access to the most internship placement opportunities.
